In 2004, HomelandSecurityJobs.us, was established to connect job seekers with employers recruiting security help. It is the first job board created solely for employers/contractors and their key personnel dedicated to safeguarding the country from terrorism, following establishment of the Department of Homeland Security. The mission of the new internet job center is to enable agencies and contractors to quickly tap the pool of security-cleared individuals seeking employment, and to put the job seekers in touch with the potential employers.
