The Operations, Intelligence and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for an all-source Homeland Security Analyst.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Monitors reporting from the Intelligence Community, Law Enforcement agencies at all levels of government and open sources to determine potential threats to the Homeland.
• Conducts detailed all source assessments, forecasts, and strategic warning involving present/future threats to homeland security.
• Shares warnings, analysis, and assessments with DHS senior leadership and Components; Federal, State, Local, Tribal and Private Sector partners.
• Advises DHS leadership of any developments requiring immediate action.
• Develops and maintains close liaison with counterparts and colleagues throughout the intelligence and law enforcement communities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences and 4+ years of related experience. Requires TS/SCI security clearance.
•DESIRED SKILLS:
• Current DHS suitability and badge considered a plus.
• Familiarity with the issues/threats presented at land and maritime borders for U.S. states, possessions, and territories considered a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish (Central American dialect) and/or French (French-Canadian dialect) considered a plus.
• Knowledge of the range of analytical and investigative techniques used in Homeland Security threat assessment.
• Knowledge of the principles of intelligence operations and analytical techniques.
